TERRANE is supporting the work of the Medical Mission Institute (MMI)

The Medical Mission Institute is a Catholic advisory organisation for international health in Germany and has been active worldwide since 1922 with its prior aim to improve the health conditions particularly of disadvantaged persons and populations. Together with their local partner OPAL (L’Organisation de Plaidoirie pour l’Avancement de l’arrondissement de Léogâne) they have committed themselves to improve access to quality primary health care by providing comprehensive curative and preventive health care services, targeting approximately 30.000 Haitians living in the suburb of Léogâne - Haiti. The construction of the new building will be done by a local contractor and supervised by a civil engineer of the Medical Mission Institute. The inauguration or the extended health centre is scheduled to September 2012.
