ENGILANG`ET BOARDING HOME

ARUSHA DISTRICT - TANZANIA

TERRANE was asked to design a boarding home for the Engilang`et Nursery and Primary School in Arusha District, Tanzania. 
The project looks to integrate a dormitory building within a cohesive master plan for the Arusha School, looking to both improve the quality of the existing space, as well as designing a template of possible spatial uses for the future. When dealing specifically with the building, the concept for the Arusha Boarding Home was wrapped around two main thoughts: the immediate topographical situation of the site and the climatic conditions of its environment.
